    Job Responsibilities

    The Assistant Director of Operations is a Director of Operations in training. Responsible for supporting the Director of Operations to drive financial and operational performance on an LAT level. Ensures the LAT delivers on budgeted growth and profitability targets. This includes working with the Director of Operations and Area Sales managers short-range deal planning and execution, operational staff oversight and performance managment, compliance and logistics optimization.

     

    Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Participates in the development and delivery of the LAT operations budget, monitors and forecasts LAT operations performance to budget and reviews LAT Profit & Loss and Growth performance with the Director of Operations.
    • Engages in client sales and new business start up. Identifies and recommends sales opportunities which will promote revenue growth in LAT.
    • Ensures logistic optimization; maintains LAT ownership of assets, facilitates coordination of assets in conjunction with the Directors of Operations and Logistics teams, restructures customer routes as appropriate, monitors asset repairs and maintenance costs; develops action plans. Monitors equipment performance; addresses service issues with vendors to ensure maximum equipment “uptime” and service levels.
    • Ensures highest levels of client satisfaction; monitors client quarterly business reviews, proactively resolves any potential client issues, identifies opportunities to expand service and/or retain existing business.
    • Participates in LAT business development and customer retention activities; supports Director of Operations/Business Development in client presentations, provides ongoing support through contracting phase, ensures deal structure meets client and company expectations and presents to Director of Operations for final approval.
    • Provides fixed site project oversight as assigned by the Director of Operations; ensures projects are completed within the specified budget and timeframe and result in expected quality measures.
    • Maintains LAT regulatory compliance; monitors changes in applicable laws and regulations (OSHA, JCAHO, OSPOD, NRC, DHS, ACR and/or other governing bodies), ensures LAT’s compliance with region’s quality and safety programs; ensures the highest standards of patient care.

    Position Requirements

    • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Candidate must possess at least five years of experience in a healthcare operations management role; healthcare service environment preferred.
    • Prior Diagnostic Imaging experience is preferred.
    • Job requires approximately 40% local travel.
