    Job Responsibilities

     

    This Radiology Supervisor will cover East Bay/South Bay - approximately 10 facilities

    Remote Position

     

     

    The Radiology Supervisor monitors and reports daily aspects of imaging services. Assists Manager of Operations in coordinating daily operations to maximize quality of patient care / imaging quality, ensuring proper equipment performance, guaranteeing safe and clean equipment, and controlling the cost of providing service. Schedules TM work assignments. Assists MO with team members evaluations and education. Will oversee multi-modalities, regardless of individual licensure.

     

    Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Serves as primary interface with team members for day to day operations.
      Serves as the primary interface with customers for day to day operations.
      Assists MO with team member performance management and evaluations.
      Administrative responsibilities related to payroll, team member work schedules, compliance, quality and patient satisfaction.
      Performs scanning and marketing functions as needed

    Position Requirements

    • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Advanced level certification required in the modality(s) supported required.
    • CPR Certification required.
    • State License required, if applicable.
    • ARRT (R) and (MR) and state license, CRT, Venipuncture
    • Valid state driver's license required.
    • 4 years of Technologist experience required.
    • 2+ years as a Lead Technologist preferred; 2-3 years with Alliance preferred.
    • Serves with compassion and provides excellent patient care.
    • Efficiently conducts prescribed diagnostic scans of patients and produces quality images that are able to be read by Radiologists or referring physicians.
    • Displays expertise in using multiple types of units (ie. Siemens, GE, etc.) to effectively conduct prescribed scans and may regularly work at different customer sites.
    • Coaches and trains Technologists and Trainees on effective methods for scanning patients and reliably producing readable scans.
    • Conducts Clinical Competency Evaluations for Lead Technologists, Technologists and Trainees as requested by Manager of Operations or Director of Operations.
    • Stands behind their integrity and works with an ethical approach.
    • Continually educates themselves to the business.
    • Produce high quality diagnostic images by understanding and recognizing cross-sectional anatomy.
    • Train new technologists and patient coordinators in policy and procedures.
    • Ability to scan on multiple system types (GE, Siemens, etc).
    • Serve as the clinical expert in the assigned territory.
    • Identifies areas to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency.
    • Knowledge of state and federal health safety laws and JC Standards.
    • Builds relationships with customers and team members to influence situations to impact customer/patient/TM experience.
    • Provide feedback both positive and negative to provide performance feedback.
    • Effective and efficient at using standard PC operations including email, to communicate and be productive.
    • Demonstrates accountability and takes personal responsibility for results.
    • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and with customers on a regular and routine basis.
    • Highly effective time management skills and ability to multi-task efficiently.
    • Job requires approximately 25-50% travel.

    Physical Requirements:

    • The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to radioactive isotopes and ionizing radiation. May be exposed to radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
    • More than 50% of the time:
      • Sit, stand, walk.
      • Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.
      • See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.
    • Less than 50% of the time:
      • Stoop, kneel or crawl.
      • Climb and balance.
      • Carry and lift 10-20 pounds.
