    Job Responsibilities

    We are currently hiring a Full Time Lead Nuclear - PET/CT Technologist in Northern CA!

    The PETCT Technologist, Lead serves as clinical expert for assigned territory. Serves as primary trainer for new hires. Performs scanning responsibilities.

     

    Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Performs clinical scans.
    • Trains new hires and conducts ongoing reviews on clinical competencies.
    • Assists with day to day unit operational issues.
    • Works with team and customer on protocol development and review to ensure radiation safety compliance.

    Position Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Minimum 4 years medical diagnostics technologist experience required.
    • CPR certification required.
    • NMTCB or ARRT(N) and State license, if applicable, required. 
    • As applicable, valid state driver’s license.
    • Local travel may be required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to radioactive isotopes and ionizing radiation. May be exposed to radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
    • More than 50% of the time:
      • Sit, stand, walk.
      • Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.
      • See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.
    • Less than 50% of the time:
      • Stoop, kneel or crawl.
      • Climb and balance.
      • Carry and lift (ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam).
