    Job Responsibilities

     

    PRC Associates, a division of Alliance HealthCare Services, is seeking a full time Clinic Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced pain management medical clinic in New Smyrna Beach, FL.  Experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferred.

     

    Position is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and eligible for the following benefits:

    The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for assuring that all day-to-day operations at their site are completed before the end of the business day of that site. The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for collaborating with providers and staff to ensure the safe, effective and efficient delivery of care that results in a best-inmarket experience for patients and the referring community. Under the direction of the Manager, the supervisor coordinates all operational and service aspects of an assigned clinic, including but not limited to the oversight of: front and back-office staff, patient and staff scheduling, quality and patient satisfaction efforts, regulatory compliance, and expense management.

     

    Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Ensures the efficient and safe operation of assigned clinic(s); coordinates all front and back-office activities; this includes timely and accurate phone management, scheduling new and existing patients, coordinates staff and provider schedules to ensure appropriate coverage; evaluates and improves clinic workflows (as needed); collaborates with providers and staff on clinical and administrative processes to ensure the delivery of a high-quality patient experience, assures TM completion of necessary workflows to meet all Quality programs; including charge capture, orders and lab requisitions, and appropriate items required in the medical record with sign off.
    • Under the direction of the Manager, and in coordination of HR, assists with the HR life cycle for front and back-office staff to include assisting with interviewing, hiring, corrective action, performance management, annual reviews and terminations. Ensures all staff are trained, appropriately licensed/credentialed, and meet basic annual competencies.
    • Maintains a safe and comfortable clinical environment for patients, staff, and providers; implements quality and safety policies and procedures at assigned clinic(s); ensures all policies are followed, including Infection Control and Radiation Safety; conducts quality assurance audits; identifies quality issues / concerns and collaborates with provider and staff to implement corrective action(s) to improve clinical outcomes.
    • Maintains all regulatory compliance; ensures assigned clinic(s) adhere to all regulatory standards including, but no limited to: applicable State Radiation Regulatory Agencies, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and American Disabilities Act (ADA). Ensures all regulatory documentation in clinic is present and complete.
    • Provide day-to-day oversight of clinic expenses; optimizes and dynamically adjusts staff schedules to align with patient volumes, assures that daily schedules are being filled during normal operational hours, manages and corrects scenarios where clinic schedules are being blocked or volume reduced; minimizes staff overtime, ensures the cost-effective coordination and procurement of clinic supplies and services; implements actions plans to address and expense variations; ensures clinic(s)’s expenses do not exceed budget.

    Position Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or minimum 1 year of internal lead responsibilities required, or a combination thereof.
    • One or more years of clinical / healthcare services management experience highly preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to relate effectively to a variety of people.
    • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
    • Desire and ability to lead others with compassion utilizing servant leadership paradigm.
    • Self-motivated and directed; able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Local travel may be required.
