The Clinic Coordinator will ensure the smooth flow of patients through the clinic. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Clinical Services manages daily front office operations, including the reception team and ensures positive interactions with patients on site and on the phone. Responsible for coordination of multiple providers and/or multiple locations as requested by the Director of Clinical Services.

 

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for clinic daily operations (front office and back office activities), including but not limited to staffing and conflict resolution. Participates under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services in the interviewing, hiring, performance management to include; disciplinary action and annual reviews for clinical support personnel. Ensures all staff are properly trained and meet basic annual competencies.
  • Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services, identifies quality issues / concerns, ensures all policies are followed, including Infection Control and Radiation Safety. Ensures regulatory standards and guidelines in the clinic including but not limited to applicable State Radiation Regulatory Agencies, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and American Disabilities Act (ADA) are adhered to. Ensures all regulatory documentation in clinic is present and complete.
  • Displays excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers and ensures that all clinic employees interact appropriately with all customers.
  • Reviews and troubleshoots provider and staff schedules daily and collaborates with providers and appropriate administrative contacts to ensure issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
  • Retains responsibility for any tasks which are delegated to clinic staff.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • MA Certification strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to relate effectively to a variety of people.
  • Able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced computer skills related to navigation and software programs preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Desire and ability to lead others with compassion utilizing servant leadership paradigm.

Physical Requirements:

  • The employee may be exposed to radioactive isotopes, ionizing radiation, and a strong magnetic field. May be exposed to radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
  • More than 50% of the time:
    • Sit, stand, walk.
    • Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.
    • See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.
  • Less than 50% of the time:
    • Stoop, kneel or crawl.
    • Climb and balance.
    • Carry and lift (ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam).
