The Sr Director Human Resources will partner with the company’s executive team and senior leaders to achieve the strategic and operational goals of the businesses and their departments. Responsible for proposing, developing, implementing and coordinating company programs, polices, and procedures covering all areas of Human Resources: employee relations, organizational and work design, coaching of senior leaders, performance management, compensation, employee selection and leadership development. Has leadership responsibility for assuring all critical human resources functions are delivered timely and effectively for client organizations while working with a team of HR professionals in developing and leading company-wide initiatives.


Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as a member of the senior leadership team; contributes to the strategic direction of multiple business units; acts as an advisor and business partner to leaders; develop and implement mid and long-term strategic HR goals and priorities; leads assigned HRBP Team to execute on all strategic priorities. 
  • Identifies, initiates and leads enterprise-wide, transformational HR change-initiatives in the areas of TM Engagement / Experience, TM Culture / MVV and other O/D activities such Org Design, Leadership Development, Succession Planning, etc. Responsible for partnering with senior leaders on needs assessments and program design on a wide-array of HR solutions. 
  • Directs, develop and coaches a national, field-based HR Manager and HR Business Partner Team. Ensure team has the tools, resources, and knowledge to execute on key organizational initiatives. Monitors and takes action to optimize team performance. Develops a “bench” to ensure the HRBP Team has necessary talent to meet the current and emerging needs of the business. 



Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in HRM or MBA preferred.
  • Certificate in Human Resources Management or PHR preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressively responsible human resource experience managing all aspects of employee selection, development, retention, and employee relations in various businesses in a regional, national or global setting required. 
  • 3+ years leading a remote HR team of four or more HR professionals required.
  • Expertise in employee relations and employment law in a multi-state environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence all levels of management, build relationships quickly, understand the business and assist business leaders in reaching their strategic goals.
  • Experience in transforming the human resources function and processes to best in class status.
  • Ability to measure and track H.R. effectiveness through use of key metrics/measures.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge decisions of peers and superiors for the benefit of the organization. 
  • Experience with organizational development and design concepts, change management, and training & development are strongly preferred competencies.
  • Analytical skills, presentation skills, strong creative and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Job may require travel.
