Job Responsibilities

Alliance Radiology has rapidly grown over the past 30 years by providing radiology service line solutions, outpatient center management services, and mobile radiology solutions (Per Diem, PT, and FT MRI, PET/CT, CT).


The, Procurement Specialist II shall perform pre-award and post-award activities such as: analyzing requirements, market research, recommending revisions to statements of work/specifications, assist with determining the appropriate type of contract, procurement planning, developing solicitations, documenting contract actions including negotiation memoranda, determination and findings, and justifications and approvals, conducting post-award activities. Responsible for checking prices, responsible for PO Entry, ensure compliance with current contracts and act on discrepancies. 


Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for purchase order entry in the ERP system, placing orders with suppliers, and working with suppliers to ensure on-time receipts
  • Develop, update, and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure a continuous supply of quality, competitively priced goods and services
  • Negotiate amendments to key agreements for indirect goods and services to reduce total cost and improve delivery and quality
  • Communicate with suppliers and Accounts Payable through the PO and payment process to resolve issues when necessary 
  • Maintain ongoing communications with suppliers and keep current on the integrity and financial health of our suppliers

Position Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • APICS Certification preferred. 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain required. 
  • Thorough knowledge of Quality Systems, especially those regulations pertaining to vendors and materials preferred.
  • *Experience with medical equipment, supplies and services preferred.
  • ERP experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Job requires approximately 5% travel.
